uShip says that their reverse auction model helps to reduce shipping costs (uShip claims 60% savings) because movers competetively bid against each other and are often filling empty space in their trucks. uShip also claims that their feedback rating system, which is similar to that of eBay, builds trust and credibility between service providers and their customers.
