| The Walk of Game is an area of the Metreon complex building in San Francisco honoring great video game achievements. It is meant to be similar to Hollywood, California's Walk of Fame, although it does not receive as much publicity and is widely regarded to be an advertisement for the Metreon building. The 2005 inductees are Shigeru Miyamoto and Nolan Bushnell for the Lifetime Achievement Awards, Mario, Link and Sonic the Hedgehog for the Character Awards, and Halo for the Game Award. The 2006 inductees are Sid Meier and John Carmack for the Lifetime Achievement Awards, Lara Croft for the Character Award, and Starcraft, Final Fantasy, and EverQuest for the Game Awards.
