X-51 is an organization in the computer and video game Deus Ex.

X-51 appeared as an opposing force to UNATCO/Majestic 12 oraganized by scientists and soldiers (led by Dr. Gary Savage) that defected from MJ12 once they found out the true intentions of the organization.

They are the only institution excluding MJ12 to possess a Universal Constructor, and with it they hope to find a cure for the Grey Death.

They were once based in Area 51 up until 2051, when Dr. Savage and his team walked out of Area 51, stealing “everything smaller than a paper clip” and C-4'ing the large pieces of machinery that would make up the Universal Constructor.

After their defection they moved to Vandenberg Air Force Base. They are supposed to be well armed and heavily fortified within their base as they are constantly fighting Majestic 12 forces.
