Xenocide 3001 was a space based online game (a 'browser based 4X space MMO') created by a Norwegian who went by the alias of Kalak. This game differentiated from most of the other online games by its real-time aspect. This aspect dictated that the success of players would depend on constant playing, quick actions, and intense strategic planning. The game was never finished because of unknown personal reasons. However, it was still used and played for a time by a few erb surfers. Although it was not as popular as some other online games, it was still enjoyed by many gamers. Unfortunately, when Kalak shutdown the game he took all of its resources and source-code with him.

It is currently being semi-remade by one of Xenocide 3001's admins Zimzat. It now goes by the name of .

Some of the key features of this browser Based MMOG

You dont need to download anything and can play it anywhere.

Custom Units and Weapons

You can name a Weapon anything you want
you can upgrade the weapons in a certain way that fits your strategies
you can make custom units using combinations of your weapons

Ground and Space Combat

you start with one planet along with the 6 in your starting empire but can take over/trade for others
you must build units and stationary defenses to protect your planet on the ground as well to wipe out others
you need to build ships to fight for supremacy in space or to transport your ground troops
you can conquer/be conquered and the vanquished becomes a prisoner of the conqueror. (prisoners can be promoted to a higher level in a kingdom - or you can start a new kingdom in memory of the last!)

Time is not an issue

Two types of rounds are available, they tend to last either half a month or three months.
You can authorize your teammates to build for you
