Yuki Satoshi (結城聡, born February 11, 1972) is a Japanese professional Go player.

Biography

Yuki was a promising player growing up. He turned pro when he was only 12, and was promoted to 9 dan in only 10 years. He plays for the Kansai Ki-in, and not the Nihon-Kiin like most Japanese professionals do. He recently challenged Hane Naoki for the Kisei title, but just lost out in the final game. He's beaten some of Japan's best players, such as Cho U, Hane Naoki, Rin Kaiho, and Mimura Tomoyasu. Unfortunately, he hasn't been able to mount many titles due to Nihon-Kiin not allowing the Kansai-Kiin players to play in all their tournaments.
