Games - Zero.EXE

Zero.EXE is a character in the Mega Man Battle Network series.

History

Zero.EXE was a virus created by Lord Wily and World Three
in an attempt to bring down the Internet by infecting the Navis that inhabit it. He is a very deadly virus and the main boss of the game, but if the player performed a certain number of significant acts in the game, Zero would be reborn as a Navi himself. This indeed did occur, with MegaMan.EXE
defeating him battle. However, instead of dstroying him, Dr. Hikari gave him a program witch evicerated his virus status and allowing him to thrive at the Science labs. Zero. EXE now currently explores the Internet while under supervison of said officials.

Personality

Zero is nearly identical to his X series counterpart. He completes tasks as given to him, does not go against higher command and seems quite soft-spoken. However, after his virus status is negated, he gains a positive outlook on his existance, looking out for the greater good and coming to understand things such as friendship and trust, things previously foriegn to him.

Trivia

  • Zero also appears in a poster in Higsby's shop in Megaman Battle Network 3, and examining the poster says that it is a 'poster of a legendary hero'.(However, he is depicted in his X series form) Zero was the first X series character to appear in theMegaMan Battle Network series, the others being Colonel then followed in EXE6 by Iris.
