Zhao Xue (born April 6, 1985) is a chess player who holds the Woman Grandmaster title. On the October 2005 FIDE list, she has an ELO rating of 2478, which ranks her 16th among women and 5th among girls under 20 (in January 2005 she was 5th and 2nd respectively with a rating of 2502). She won the World Junior Girls Chess Championship in 2002.

Zhao Xue played an important part in the last two victories of China in the Women's Chess Olympiad. She scored 11/12 on board 4 in Bled 2002 and 10/12 on board 3 in Calvia 2004, winning individual gold medals for her performances on both occasions. She played first board on a slightly weaker Chinese women's team in the World Teams Championship held in Beer Sheva in 2005.
