11:14 is a 2003 movie about a series of events which co-incide and lead up to the same time, 11:14 p.m.

Plot

The format of the movie is a number of stories; each story starts progressively further back in time, starting with 11:14 p.m. There are many ways in which the stories interlink with one another.

1. The first story a man is seen driving along a road at night talking on his cell phone. He has been drinking. The time is 11:14 p.m. Suddenly, as he goes under a bridge, a body lands on his windshield. He stops, and when he sees another car coming hides the body. The car pulls up next to him, and the woman there presumes that he hit a deer, because of a nearby deer crossing sign. The woman then says she will ring the police because she knows the chief, and the man tries to persuade her not to, but to no avail. She drives off, and so he decides to hide the body in the trunk of his car. He gets back into the car and the police have already arrived. The cop upon seeing what is in the trunk and he also sees the face of the body has been disfigured, then handcuffs the man, The cop is about to put him in his car, and has to tell 2 people in the back to move over so that he will fit. but he is able to get free of the handcuffs and run away. He eventually meets up with the woman he saw in the car, but is then caught by the cop who had been chasing him. The woman knows that her daughter had been hit by a car earlier in the night and when she sees the cop chasing the man, she puts the two together and assumes the man is the one who has killed her daughter.

2. Kids in a van causing trouble throwing things, and are drunk, end up hitting a woman crossing the street. One of the kids was peeing out the window at the time and his penis is cut off when the van stops. They flee the scene and are shot at by a guy, one kid then goes back to try and find his friends penis and is accosted by ambulance officers on the scene.

3. Hilary Swank
's character is working at a convenience store late at night, when her friend knocks on the door and she lets him in after the store is closed. We recognize him as the one who shot at the kids in the van; also the kids in the van show up here to buy items to thow out their window. He needs money to pay for his girlfriend's abortion and comes up with a plan to rob the store. While messing around with a revolver, she accidentally shoots a bullet through a glass drink container, and realises she will get in trouble but wants him to shoot her so that she could tell her boss that the robber did it. She makes him shoot her in the fleshy part of her arm, but she did not realise how painful it would be. He leaves while she calls 9-1-1. But she is arrested by police later after she refuses to try to identify the guy who had been caught by police.

4. A man walking his dog late at night discovers a dead body in the cemetery, and keys marked 'Cheri'. He then tries to dispose of the body, and drops it over the bridge, where it lands on the car of the person which had been seen at the start of the film. We find out that the lady from the 1st scene is this man's wife.

5. A girl, the daughter of the man above who is named Cheri, sneaks off with a guy she had been having an affair with to have sex with him at the cemetery. While doing this, he is lying back against a tombstone, and the heavy stone head of the tombstone falls onto his face, killing him instantly. The girl then runs away from the scene, dropping her keys with the word 'Cheri' on them. She tries to implicate the guy she had been going out with, who is the same guy who had pretended to rob the convenience store. She goes to the convenient store and she takes the bowling ball from his car and brings it the cemetery, to plant as evidence but drops it when she notices the body is gone, her father threw it off the interstate above. Her car was having trouble, and while she is able to use jumper leads to start it when she is parked at the convenience store next to him, she can not start it at the cemetery. She then makes a cell phone call to the guy we had seen at the start of the film, and it is realised that the two of them were in a plot to take money from her two boyfriends. She then tries to cross the road to talk to her boyfriend who she has just seen, and at exactly 11:14, is hit by the van of drunk teenagers.

At 11:14pm

The ways that the five stories converge at exactly 11:14 p.m.:

There were two deaths in the film - the guy who died at the cemetery after the stone head fell on him while having sex with Cheri, and Cheri herself who is hit while crossing the road by the van of drunk teenagers.

At exactly 11:14pm:

1) The body of one of Cheri's lovers is being thrown off the bridge by Cheri's father onto the car of Cheri's accomplice. 2) Meanwhile the van of drunk teenagers hits Cheri who had been walking over to collect the abortion money from another one of her lovers.
