Movies - 9-11: The Road to Tyranny

9-11: The Road to Tyranny is an American film, written and directed by radio personality Alex Jones and released to video in 2002. Jones classifies this film as a documentary; however, critics have dismissed its message as a conspiracy theory.

Summary

The film purports to document how the Problem Reaction Solution has been deployed throughout written history by the powerful in order to strengthen their power. Jones begins with the Burning of Rome and ends with the 9/11 attacks, then presents a worst-case scenario which he believes will occur if people do not begin to examine his stated points.

The film consists of Alex Jones talking to a video camera, clips of television programs, and pictures of newspapers and web site printouts. Jones uses sound effects to emphasize the facts he documents: looping sentences from television broadcasts, slowing down the sound track, and using various funny voices in his own speech.
