A Kiss on the Nose is a short film first released in the USA on August 15 2004 during Rhode Island International Film Festival, written and directed by Laura Neri. It stars Judiann Barnes, Maeva Cifuentes, Monica Cortes, Elena Fabri, Gianfranco Russo and Warren Sweeney.

A young woman copes with the untimely death of her father, and finds peace in her memories and a box of old letters. Through poignant flashbacks the woman remembers the difficult and somewhat estranged relationship she had with her father while he was alive. Slowly, she begins to realize just how special their relationship was, coming to terms with her own anger and resentment.

Festivals and Awards

Laura Neri and her film participated in many festival such as: #Ohio Independent Film Festival 2004 #Golden Film Festival 2005 #Damah Spiritual Experience Film Festival 2005 #Los Angeles Italian Film Festival 2005 #Danville International Children's Film Festival 2005

During 2005 the film won "Jimmy Stewart Memorial Crystal Heart Award – Student Dramatic Short" and A.S.C. Charles B. Lang Heritage Award for Outstanding Cinematography (Honorable Mention). Laura Neri also received the inaugural Vision Award sponsored by Vision Racing, which recognizes an emerging filmmaker who shows vision in filmmaking.
