A Low Down Dirty Shame is a 1994 action-comedy film written and directed by Keenan Ivory Wayans. This movie also stars Charles S. Dutton, Salli Richardson, and Jada Pinkett Smith.

Plot summary

Andre Shame (Keenen Ivory Wayans) has left his private detective position with the LAPD, after failing to crack the case on drug lord Mendoza (Andrew Divoff). At the same time, becoming romantically entangled with his ex-girlfriend Angela (Salli Richardson). However, when Rothmiller (Charles S. Dutton), Shame's ex-colleague now working for the DEA, tells him that the Mendoza case is being re-opened, Shame can't help but begin a personal investigation. This time, hopefully, Shame won't embarrass his private investigative talents by becoming sidetracked by a renewed romance.
