| A Million to Juan is a 1994 film co-written and directed by comic Paul Rodriguez. This romantic comedy is Paul Rodiguez's debut as a director. The screenplay is a modern spin on Mark Twain's story "The Million-Pound Bank Note." In the film a stranger in a limousine hands over a million dollars to an undocumented Mexican orange vendor (Paul Rodriguez) living in Southern California. (He was born in the United States, but lacks proof.) But there is a catch! He must give the money back in one month. That's when the fun begins for Juan Lopez. Quotes
