Adario Strange is a New York based, film director, writer and artist best known for his documentary film detailing a year of strange deaths at the famed university.

Strange was born and raised in the East Village in New York City, NY, United States, the son of an Native American independent
film producer. Many in the entertainment industry also know him for his work as one of the original writers and second Editor in chief of The Source hip hop magazine, and pioneering hip hop culture into the mainstream of America.

He also became a well-known New York radio personality (at New York's Hot 97 WQHT FM and WBAU FM), and a record producer for the late Tupac Shakur
. Strange also worked behind-the-scenes with Public Enemy's Bomb Squad production team members Hank Shocklee and Bill Stephney. In the year 2001 Strange appeared in The New York Times as a leader of the digital music MP3 movement heading up . Later in 2001, Strange released the book The Art of Secrets: Pirates, Robots, & Beats an episodic recounting of the growth of the bleeding-edge digital age emerging in America.

Strange has appeared as a guest discussing youth culture and technology on ABC's World News Tonight,CBS News, PBS, and in the pages of The New York Times, The New York Daily News, Crains business report and Billboard Magazine. More recently Strange has become known for his films ("Hikikomori: Tokyo Plastic" 2004) and multimedia art productions () that deal in various Japanese pop culture themes.
