| Albudhadweep (meaning "amazing island") is the name of a Malayalam-language Indian movie, which created history by becoming the first Indian movie whose remake rights have been bought by Hollywood. The movie, directed by Vinayan and starring Pritviraj and Mallika Kapoor, is about a mysterious island where all the men are dwarfs and all the women are normal. Albudhadweep was released in 2005 and the remake rights were sold almost immediately to a Hollywood producer who was in India at that time. Leonardo Di Caprio is going to star in the Hollywood version, and all the 300 dwarfs who starred in the Malayalam version will re-enact their roles in the English version.
