| Alfred Goulding (b. 1896, Melbourne, Australia, d. 1972),was a film director in the United States who mainly directed short comedies. His best known work was a Laurel and Hardy feature film, A Chump at Oxford. He later worked uncredited on their final film Atoll K,a project which was marred by Stan Laurel's very poor health during its making.
