Anger Management is a 2003 comedy film starring Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson which was directed by Peter Segel and written by David S Dorfman.

Mild mannered Dave Buznik (Sandler) is a white collar businessman for a pet clothing company in Manhattan. He is number two to his boss, who constantly takes credit for his work and frequently disrespects Dave. Things aren't any better on the homefront when a condescending suitor constantly overshadows Dave's loving girlfriend (Tomei) which doesn't help since he's her ex-boyfriend. While on a business trip, a misunderstanding blows wildly out of proportion, wrongly sentencing Dave to an anger management course, run by Dr. Buddy Rydell (Nicholson) who may seem mentally unstable, particularly of his overaggressive techniques. The doctor's unconventional approach to therapy frightens Dave but it might also be the only thing to save Dave from himself, and Buddy might be the only one who can help his young patient, since he recognizes an alarming problem in Dave that could get worse.
