| Anna Morgan (1934-1978) was a character in the 2002 movie The Ring. She and her husband, Richard, owned and operated the Morgan Ranch on Moesko Island, Washington, where they were award-winning horse breeders. They had a daughter (later revealed to be adopted) named Samara Morgan. Anna slowly went insane following Samara's birth, disturbed by horrifying visions the young girl was psychokinetically feeding her. Eventually, Anna murdered Samara by throwing her down a deep well. Shortly thereafter, Anna committed suicide.
