Aquamarine is a film starring Sara Paxton, Emma Roberts and JoJo. The film was released in North America on March 3, 2006. The movie is based on a children's book by Alice Hoffman. Sara Paxton in the title role plays a mermaid found by two young girls in the swimming pool of their beach club after a violent storm. Aquamarine falls in love with an attractive lifeguard and enlists the help of the two girls to win his heart and offers to grant them one wish in return. The cast also includes Shaun Micallef, Claudia Karvan, Tammin Sursok and Christina Ritter.

Aquamarine was listed on the IMDb Bottom 100 list, which consists of the 100 worst movies ever made. It currently ranks at number 33 with 2.4 out of 10 stars.
