There are three feature films in Telugu by the name ARADHANA First among them was made in early sixties with Akkineni Nageswara Rao as the hero. The film is highly popular even today for its melodies like "Na hrudayamlo nidurinche cheli", "Vennela loni vikasame" etc.

Second film with same name was made in early seventies with Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao (NTR) in the lead. This film was a remake of Hindi hit GEET. This film is still remembered for its songs sung by Mohd Rafi including "Na madi ninnu pilichindi".

Third film was made in late eighties with Chiranjeevi portraying the protagonist. This film also has been critically acclaimed for its direction and music. Ilayaraja scored music and the song "are emayindee" is a super hit.

Thus the name ARADHANA was used in telugu film industry thrice with top stars as heroes and all three were musical hits. Similarities can be drawn with DEVATHA also, a title which is used for films made with Nagaiah, NTR and SOBHAN BABU. These three films were super hits in Andhra Pradesh.

Aradhana is a 1969 Hindi movie. The length of the movie was 169 minutes. The movie was a major blockbuster and introduced Rajesh Khanna as a super star. It was the first movie of Bollywood's hit on-screen pair Rajesh khanna and Sharmila Tagore.
