Back to the Secret Garden (2000) is a television movie starring Joan Plowright and George Baker. It was directed by Michael Turner.

Plot

In this sequel to The Secret Garden, a young American girl comes to live at Misselthwaite Manor, now a home for war orphans. The manor is owned by Lady Mary and Sir Colin, who first discovered the secret garden as children. When they are traveling abroad, the care of the manor is left to Martha (Plowright), a dour, superstitious housekeeper who keeps the garden locked and untended. When energetic young Lizzie comes to stay, she finds the magical place that is now dying of a broken heart.
