Bande à part, or Band of Outsiders, is a 1964 comedy/drama/film noir by French filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard, adapted from the American 1950s pulp fiction Fools' Gold by Dolores Hitchens. It is part of the French New Wave movement. Godard himself described it as "Alice in Wonderland meets Franz Kafka".PlotOdile (Anna Karina) meets wannabe criminals Arthur (Claude Brasseur) and Franz (Sami Frey) in an English language class and the two men persuade Odile to assist them in staging a robbery.Famous scenes
