Be the Creature is yet another creation of the prolific Kratt Brothers (Chris and Martin). A wildlife series designed to immerse both the brothers and the viewers in the world of animals, Be the Creature features 13 episodes. Unlike other Kratt Brothers programs, Kratts' Creatures and Zoboomafoo, Be the Creature is most definitely oriented towards an adult audience. Brutally honest in terms of its portrayal of life in the wild, it sometimes features very graphic footage.

In Be the Creature, Chris and Martin place themselves in the very thick of the animal world. They race across a beach to film a killer whale attacking sea lions or through the brush with a komodo dragon at their heels, and their enthusiasm is infectious.

A sequel, Be the Creature 2, is scheduled to begin in 2005.
