| Bed of Roses is a 1996 romance film that starred Mary Stuart Masterson and Christian Slater. It was written and directed by Michael Goldenberg. Slater plays a florist named Lewis who falls in love with Lisa, played by Masterson. The film was not praised by critics, which is revealed by a "rotten" rating (17%) on Rotten Tomatoes. However it grossed a respectable $19 million USD in the United States and was released on DVD in 1999. Bed of Roses was produced by Juno Pix and New Line Cinema, and it was distributed in the US by New Line.
