Bewitched is a 2005 film produced by Columbia Pictures and inspired by the classic television series of the same name. The film was released in the United States and Canada on June 24, 2005. It was directed by Nora Ephron and featured as co-stars Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell.

The film is not a direct adaptation of the television series. It is about a star (Ferrell) that wants to find the perfect woman to play a witch—and his wife—in a TV show, a modern adaptation of the classic TV show Bewitched. He wants an unknown regular girl, and finds her (Kidman). He decides to downplay her role and make the show focus on Darrin (thus garnering the audience's attention). He finds out the hard way, however, that she really is a witch.

The movie was often panned by critics and neglected by audiences, but still managed to earn $127,438,981 internationally as of late October 2005. The movie had a budget of US $85 million.
