Bobby Cohen is an American film producer who's credits include The Cider House Rules and Memoirs of a Geisha.

Life and career

Born on January 8, 1970, Bobby Cohen is a New York native whose parents are both attorneys. He graduated from Cold Spring Harbor High School in 1988 and went on to receive his degree from New York University.

One of Bobby Cohen's first jobs was as an assistant at the Writers & Artists Agency. At 23 he joined Miramax Films as a Senior VP of Production, contributing to movies like Clerks, Scream and Beautiful Girls. His first producing credit was for 54 which was mildly received. He produced several other movies for Miramax before leaving in 2003.

After Miramax, Bobby Cohen started his own production company, Cohen Productions, producing the Gwyneth Paltrow movie, View from the Top. Currently, Bobby Cohen is President of Red Wagon Productions where he has been executive producer on such projects as Jarhead and Memoirs of a Geisha.
