Plot

The film begins and ends with the protagonist Jake on the set of a vampire film. Failing to rise from the coffin due to his claustrophobia, Jake attends an acting workshop to improve his skills. He has recently found himself homeless, due to the witnessing of his girlfriend having an affair in her home, where he had been living. At the workshop class, he gets a house-sitting offer he can't refuse. Later in the film, we see the "movie within a movie" in the Frankie Goes to Hollywood video for the song "Relax". The octagonal Chemosphere house in the San Fernando Valley was used in the film.
