Brain Donors (1992) is an American comedy movie released by Paramount Pictures, loosely based on the Marx Brothers comedy, A Night at the Opera. The movie was considered a box office bomb Nevertheless, its fast-paced comedy and witty dialogue have resulted in a small cult-like following.

Plot

After the death of tycoon & philanthropist Oscar Winterhaven Oglethorpe, a ballet company in his name, is founded by his surviving wife Lillian (Nancy Marchand). The formation of the ballet company leads to injury attorney Roland T. Flakfizer (John Turturro) vying against Oglethorpe's former attorney Edmund Lazlo (John Savident) to be director of the company. Lazlo is chosen to be director of the company after signing the greatest ballet dancer in the world, Roberto Volare aka the Great Volare (George de la Pena) to dance for the company. Flakfizer however, along with his two associates Rocco Melonchek & Jaques (Mel Smith & Bob Nelson), earn a spot as co-director by wooing the wealthy widow Lillian, and by signing the company's leading ballerina, Lisa (Julie Donald). The ensuing struggle between the two lead to comic hijinx to go along with a ballet that is seriously sabotaged in the end.

Rocco: (confronting Flakfizer) You handled my divorce a couple of years back! That was until you started dating my wife and got the court to double her original alimony request!!

Flakfizer: You didn't want me to keep seeing her in cheap motels did you? For God's sake, she was your wife, man!

Flakfizer: (introducing Rocco & Lillian to each other) Lillian Oglethorpe, Rocco Melonchek. Rocco Melonchek, Lillian Oglethorpe. In order to tell you two apart, one of you is going to have to wear a mustache.

Flakfizer: Ah, the ballet! There's nothing like spending an evening watching a bunch of anorexics leaping around men with bulging genitals.

(Laslo looks disgusted & rolls his eyes)
Flakfizer: I hope I'm not arousing you.

Flafkfizer: We'll bring in a whole new generation of ballet-goers through a series of innovative promotions and give-aways. We'll have "Leotard Nights", "Wet Tutu Competitions"...we'll even have a special ballet for the hard of hearing! All of the ballerinas will wear wooden shoes!"

Rocco: Charity work. I'm collecting these for the less fortunate who can't afford their own pornography.

Volare: Do you know what I was doing when I was eight?

Flakfizer: I can imagine and I'm surprised you didn't go blind.
Volare: I was dancing professionally!!
Flakfizer: Ahh, call it want you want. "Polishing the que-stick", "punching the porpoise", "clearing the snorkel", "choking the chicken", "pounding the salami"...but I didn't come here to rehash good memories.

Flakfizer: That spells "cash" with a capital...

Jaques: "K"!!
Flakfizer: You should go back to school!
Jaques: I hated teaching.

Flakfizer: Lillian, I dream of the day when you and I can take a Caribbean cruise where we can hold hands on a soft summer's evening and watch that old Jamaican moon. Why that old Jamaican will be mooning us, I have no idea.

(Posing as doctors and using x-rays as playing cards)

Flakfizer: You deal in X-Rays?
Jaques: I used to work at Vegas General (hospital).
Flakfizer: (to Rocco) What do you have?
Rocco: Three hearts.
Flakfizer: That beats a pair of kidneys.
