BulletProof (Real name: Special Agent, Baldwin P. Vess) is a fictional character in the C.O.P.S. (Central Organization of Police Specialists) series from Hasbro.Character ProfileBulletproof is the best Federal Agent there is as well as the founder and leader of the C.O.P.S. team. An African American, who is distinguished by dark sunglasses, trench coat covering his stainless steel cybornetic armor suit, short black hair, tan shirt, narrow black tie, carries a gun holster (in the cartoon), and carries a handcuff suitcase (in the toy series), reddish pants, and black and white shoes. Sometimes he wears a orange hat on his head just like what is shown in The Case of Big Boss' Bye Bye when he put it on and walked away from the precinct to do some private eye work.OriginSpecial Agent Baldwin P. Vess is sent ot Empire City by the U.S. Government to take down one of Empire City's most notorious criminals lead by the criminal mastermind, Big Boss. Unfortunetely Vess got injured badly (Two versions was made on how he got injured by the Crooks involved being sandwiched in between a fish truck and a brick wall as told in the cartoon and being blown away when Turbo Tu-tone fires a bazooka at the 647 Precinct on the floor where Vess was at in the comics.) and had to be taken to a near by hospital where the doctors gave him a special armor plated cybornetic torso that allows him to resist bullets. While at the hospital he encounted Berzerko, Big Boss' dim-witted nephew, who tried to take him down by firing his rifles at him, but Vess' torso resisted the bullets allowing Bulletproof (as he was called later on) to get the best of him. While staying at the hospital, Bulletproof sends out Police Officer, P.J. O'Malley (Codename: LongArm) and Rookie Officer, Donny Brooks (Codename: HardTop) to round up the best law enforcers around found all over the Country. With these men and women, including LongArm and Hardtop, and Tina Cassidy (Codename: Mainframe), Special Agent Baldwin Vess (Codename: Bulletproof) became the founder and commander of C.O.P.S.Major HighlightsBulletproof, one time, came face to face with a clone version of himself in The Case of the Buller-Proof Waldo where Dr. Badvibes created a robotic clone version of Bulletproof and tried to used him to give Cops a hard time while the real Bulletproof is being held captive and pinned down by a large suspended magnet brought on by Turbo Tu-Tone at his garage. Eventually, Bowser and Blitz rescues Bulletproof and brought him back to the precient just in time to send the faker to the scrapheap and Turbo Tu-Tone behind bars.[ Visit the complete Wikipedia entry for BulletProof (Leader) ] Some related entries: The Day Of The Roses | I Step Through Moscow | Monster-in-Law | Benny & Joon | Butterfly on a Wheel | Jacob Michailovitch Gordin | George Weiss | Brighton Beach Memoirs | Baby Bottleneck | Out of Time | Balto II: Wolf Quest This page is based on the copyrighted Wikipedia article BulletProof (Leader); it is used under the GNU Free Documentation License.
