| Callovosaurus ("Callovian lizard") is an iguanodont dinosaur from the mid-Jurassic period in England. It ate plants, and was a very primitive Iguanodont often mistaken with Camptosaurus. It may have been in the Jurassic Park novels. Among it's contemporaies were Lexovisaurus, Cetiosaurus, and the small pterosaur Dimorphodon, the local pedators included Eustreptospondylus and Megalosaurus, Calovoaurus propaby traveled in herds, base on facts of more well known ornithopods like iguanodon if it was to avoid being finished of by these predators. England during the jurassic was a mosaic of scattered islands and shallow sea.
