Capitaine Achab (in English, Captain Ahab) is a 2004 French movie directed by Philippe Ramos. It is an unusual interpretation of Moby Dick by Hermann Melville. In this movie Achab fall in love with Louise. The white skin of her body symbolized the whale Moby Dick in the dreams of Achab. This movie was presented in Cannes Film Festival and Pantin in 2004.
In this movies there are a lot of beautiful pictures of landscape (sea side in north of France). The young actress Valérie Crunchant was very charming as Louise.Cast
