A fictional organization in the universe of the Transformers, the Cobalt Sentries are a "public safety unit" attached to the Decepticon Secret Police. Marked by their distinctive cobalt blue color, they have broad authority to act within Decepticon-controlled areas of Cybertron and on occupied alien worlds. Their duties include the suppression of insurgencies, the control of information, and the evaluation of Decepticon soldiers both for treasonous activity and for potential to be promoted to the evil force's elite.

The two known members of the Cobalt Sentries are:

Garboil - Transforms from a robotic condor into a cassette. Male.
Howlback - Transformers from a robotic jaguar into a cassette. Female.

The Howlback and Garboil toys were available exclusively from Takara's e-hobby internet store in 2005. They are recolors of the Ravage and Buzzsaw toys that had been re-issued with Soundblaster in 2004.
