| Comic Book feel is a term used in movie and film productions. it is an inaccurate term (considering the broad range of comic books) to describe a specific aesthetic, specifically that of American Superhero comic books in the 1960s and 1970s, which, due to limited colour production capabilities, had simple, bright, and stark colour schemes that, while impressive on page, would not translate well into real life. Usually used in a derogatory sense, to imply that something with a "comic book look" is unrealistic, idealized, or overstated. "We didn't want to give it a comic book feel, we wanted it to look real." Suggested, more accurate alternative: four-colour feel Category:Film production [ Visit the complete Wikipedia entry for Comic book feel ] Some related entries: Memoirs of an Invisible Man | The Road to Guantanamo | Niagara | The Satan Bug | Short Time | Flying Rhino Junior High | 1979 in film | Toonsylvania | Irreconcilable Differences | Un chien andalou | Bernard and the Genie This page is based on the copyrighted Wikipedia article Comic book feel; it is used under the GNU Free Documentation License.
