David Furnish (born October 26, 1962 in Toronto, Canada) is Elton John
's life partner. They met at a Halloween party in 1993. He is a former advertising executive who is now a film director and producer most famous for his documentary Elton John: Tantrums & Tiaras
. He also is a regular contributer to Interview. Furnish and John entered into a civil partnership on December 21, 2005, in the royal town of Windsor.
