| Deathtrap is a 1982 thriller film about a playwright who tries to pass off a student's script as his own. It is based on Ira Levin's play of the same name. The plot involves a great many twists, including the revelation that the characters played by Caine and Reeve are lovers. The cast includes Michael Caine, Christopher Reeve, Dyan Cannon, Irene Worth, Henry Jones, Joe Silver, Tony DiBenedetto, Al LeBreton, Francis B. Creamer Jr, Stewart Klein, Jeffrey Lyons, and Joel Siegel. Though the film was widely hailed, for her performance in the film, Cannon was nominated for the 1982 Golden Raspberry Awards for "Worst Supporting Actress."
