Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story is a slightly fictionalized biographical film about Bruce Lee, starring Jason Scott Lee (no relation) as Lee released in 1993. The movie was directed by Rob Cohen and written by Rob Cohen, Edward Khmara, and John Raffo. Its soundtrack has been reused many times for countless movie trailers.

Movie in Comparison To Real Life

The movie had some of the facts about the real Bruce Lee changed in the movie due to cinematic purposes, these include

Bruce in the film was paralyzed due to a fight that he had with a martial artists with the intent to stop Bruce from teaching marital arts to the gwai lo, however in real life Bruce was paralyzed due to a weight lifting accident which damaged his spinal cord.
The fight against the same martial artists, in which Bruce is shown dramatically kicking him out of the ring and into the audience, actually lasted 10 minutes rather than 1 minute, and it only lasted that long due to the opponent running around in circles in fear of Bruce Lee.
In the film it is shown that Bruce Lee was a native to Hong Kong when in actual fact he was originally born in San Fransico.
