Evil (Ondskan) is a 2003 Swedish movie, directed by Mikael Håfström, based on Jan Guillou's self biographic book Ondskan from 1981.

The film is set in a private boarding school in the year 1959 and the theme is violence. The film stars Andreas Wilson as Erik, the main character. Other actors include Gustaf Skarsgård, Kjell Bergqvist and Björn Granath.

Eric is a sixteen year old boy which faces violence in both school and home. One day does he crosses the line and is kicked out of his school. He starts in a private boarding school, stjärnberg, that's his last chance to continue his studies and breakaway from his earlier lifestyle. But Stjärnberg isn't as nice and friendly after a while. Eric faces the same violence as he did in his old school. Only at the boarding school is it in a disguise called "kamratuppfostran" (a friendly way to "raise" someone). Eric tries his best to not take anything of the taunting but he still wants to keep his dignity.

The film was nominated for an Oscar in the Best Foreign Language Film category in the year 2004.
