FernGully: The Last Rainforest is an animated feature produced by 20th Century Fox and released on April 10, 1992. It is a film with an environmentalist theme about fairies living in FernGully, an area of Australian rainforest that is threatened by loggers. One of the fairies, Crysta, shrinks Zak, a teenage logger, down to her size. Zak helps the fairies of FernGully stop the oncoming loggers from destroying their forest and helps in the defeat of the main villain, Hexxus.

It was directed by Bill Kroyer; the songs were by Thomas Dolby and Alan Silvestri. Jim Cox and Diana Young worked on the story.

. Also included the famous song Land of a Thousand Dances which was performed by Guy.

FernGully was followed by a direct-to-video sequel, FernGully 2: The Magical Rescue, which featured none of the original voice talent.

The film was the first of three animated features released in consecutive years by Fox in the early 1990s: Once Upon a Forest
(1993) and The Pagemaster

) followed.
