Film Roman, Inc. is an independent animation company, based in Los Angeles, California. In addition to its own productions, it currently produces the animation for the animated series The Simpsons and King of the Hill. Film Roman has also produced visual effects for many feature films through its own effects division, "Forum Visual Effects", founded by Kevin VanHook.

The company was founded in 1984 by animator Phil Roman. In May 2003, IDT Entertainment's animation production unit, Digital Production Solutions purchased a controlling in Film Roman, and in 2004, the new company became known as DPS Film Roman. It has since taken its former Film Roman name again.
