Four Brothers is a 2005 movie starring Tyrese, Andre Benjamin, Mark Wahlberg, and Garrett Hedlund. The movie was directed by John Singleton. It is a loose remake of The Sons of Katie Elder.

Plot Summary

The seemingly-random murder of their adoptive mother in a convenience store sends four brothers to Detroit on the path of vengeance when they uncover a tangled criminal web involving a local kingpin.

Body Count

1. The convenience store worker, Samir, is killed by a shotgun during the initial store robbery.

2. Evelyn Mercer is also shot and killed with a shotgun during this robbery.

3. A contract killer, Stanley Millar, is chased and then killed following the ensuing crash by Bobby Mercer with a pistol.

4. At the same location, Angel Mercer kills the second contract killer, also with a pistol.

5. Councilman Douglas, after revealing to the Mercers that Victor Sweet was behind their mother's killing, is presumed killed by Victor Sweet after all the children and women leave the room, leaving Victor's thugs and Victor asking for a pistol to take care of Douglas

6. A gangster who just shot and wounded Jack Mercer is shot and killed with a shotgun by Bobby Mercer

7. Another gangster is shot and killed by Bobby with his shotgun.

8. In the continuing firefight, another gangster is shot in revenge to Jack's wounding, by Angel with a machine gun.

9. A gangster is shot by Bobby with a shotgun as he attempts to enter their house during the firefight.

10. Another gangster is killed by Bobby with his shotgun.

11. A gangster who breaks into the back of the house is stabbed repeatedly to death with a knife by Jeremiah Mercer.

12. A gangster about to breach the house is beaten to death with a brick by Bobby.

13. A gangster who Angel shot with dual pistols is shown to be alive after being shot (he raises his machine gun to shoot Bobby, but Angel kicks the gun out of his hands) but presumably dies of the injuries sustained.

14. Jack Mercer is shot by a gangster with a machine gun and dies a few minutes later of the injuries sustained.

15. The driver of the van the gangsters were in is shot in the head by Bobby with a pistol after learning they were sent by Victor Sweet.

16. Lieutenant Green is shot dead with a pistol by Detective Fowler after Green discovers that he's a crooked cop.

17. Detective Fowler is shot dead by a SWAT team sniper after Fowler attempts to shoot Angel, is shot to one knee by an officer, and then attempts to shoot the SWAT sniper.

18. Victor Sweet is beaten severely by Bobby, and Victor's ex-associates (who turned on him for a pay-off from Jeremiah) dump him into the icy lake, where he drowns.
