| Frostbiten or English title Frostbite, is a Swedish horror film from 2006 directed by Anders Banke. Frostbiten is Sweden’s first serious Vampire movie, and the film takes place in a small town in Northen Sweden during midwinter, making the environment perfect for vampires as there are virtually no sun hours during the dark and cold Nordic winter days. The movie was mostly shot in Kalix in the winter of 2005, and the film opened at Gothenburg Film Festival on February 3, 2006. Frostbiten actually means "Frostbitten" rather than "Frostbite", it's English title.
