| Full Frontal is a 2002 film by Steven Soderbergh, about a day in the life of people in Hollywood. The film stars David Duchovny, Julia Roberts, and Mary McCormack and was shot on digital video in under a month using the Canon XL-1s. The film deals with a group of people and shows them going about their daily lives, the point being to ridicule the way of life in the superfluous movie industry. The film also tries to blur the line between what is real and what is fiction; thus the film is also about the art of film making. It is in the loose structural style and narrative ambiguity of the French New Wave, and it received much criticism for its narrative style.
