| Fur is a 2006 film starring Nicole Kidman, as seminal American photographer Diane Arbus, and Robert Downey Jr. Considered one of the major American photographers of the 20th century, Arbus was widely known for her strange, disturbing images. She ended her own life in 1971. Steven Shainberg will direct the film from a screenplay by Erin Cressida Wilson. The script will be adapted from Patricia Bosworth's book Diane Arbus: A Biography.
