Girls Gone Wild is produced and distributed by Mantra Films to audiences worldwide through home video, television, live event, wireless, Internet, SVOD, and Pay Per View distribution channels. The company is a leader in the direct response marketing and membership segments and owns and operates its own production facilities and call center. The company was founded in 1997 by Joseph Francis and is headquartered in Los Angeles.

The Girls Gone Wild brand has spawned hundreds of titles and millions of consumers, (and imitators) capturing adventurous young women against settings such as Mardi Gras, Spring Break and tropical islands.

In September of 2002, Mantra released Girls Gone Wild Doggy Style, hosted by rap superstar Snoop Dogg. The release marked a milestone by introducing the very first celebrity-hosted GGW in the series.Since then, GGW has featured many celebrities, athletes and musicians and currently have over 40 releases due for 2006.

Additionally, GGW spans the licensing, apparel, cross promotion and gaming industries with an aggressive push into new lifestyle segments.
