	Movies - Gozu

Gozu (Gokudô kyôfu dai-gekijô: Gozu), which literally translates as "cow's head", is a Japanese film directed by Takashi Miike. While initially appearing to be a yakuza comedy, the movie quickly becomes very surreal in tone and the actual themes are open to interpretation. Gozu was originally planned for release on DVD, but its positive reception in Cannes Film Festival in May 2003 secured its theatrical release overseas.
