Gustavo Alatriste is a Mexican actor, director and producer of films.

He began his career producing Luis Buñuel's Viridiana
, which starred his wife, the actress Silvia Pinal. This film, considered one of the greatest in Spanish-language cinema, was the first of three films by the trio. In the eighties Alatriste was named vice president of the Mexican CANACINE film organization.

Child of the marriage with Pinal was the actress Viridiana Alatriste.
