Evil Finds Its Way Home.

Plot

At the beginning of the film, Laurie Strode
is a patient at a mental institution. Three years earlier, in Halloween: H20, she decapitated a paramedic she mistakenly thought was Michael. Michael had infact changed outfits with the paramedic and crushed his larynx. After discovering where his sister is, Michael seeks to finish off Laurie for good. A situation puts both brother and sister on the roof and Michael hanging over the edge. While she begins to cut the rope, he pretends to try to take off his mask. She goes to him to make sure it is Michael, but in a split second he grabs her, stabs her, he lets her fall to the ground.

Later in the film, a group of six college students win a competition to spend one night, Halloween night, in the childhood home of Michael Myers. Their mission is to find out what led him to kill. It is to be broadcast live on the internet, and they naïvely think it's just for fun and the stunt will earn them some publicity and scholarship money. While in the house, the stunt goes horribly wrong as Michael returns home, and he has no intention of letting them leave alive. Soon, all of the college students are murdered except for Sara Moyer and Freddie Harris, the host of the show. Using her PDA and penpal on the outside, Sara escapes.

Trivia

  • After Halloween: H20, Curtis was contractually bound to appear in another Halloween film. The decision was made to have her face her brother once more and then depart the series. This was mainly due to Curtis' lack of interest in continuing the role rather than character based considerations.
  • In both sequels, Halloween: H20 and Halloween: Resurrection, we can see Michaels eyes behind his mask. This contradicts the first and second film when his left eye was poked out by a coathanger, and then shot in each eye by Laurie Strode.
  • As of this film, Michael's only living relatives are John Tate
and Stephen from Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers
. It is unclear how, if at all, Sara Moyer is a blood relative of Michael.
