Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will (once production begins) be a movie based on J.K. Rowling's sixth book in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Production has been confirmed, however, development has not yet begun as production of the fifth movie, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has only recently started. The release of the film is tentatively scheduled to occur in late 2008.
In the press conference for the release of the movie adaptation of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, in October 2005, producer David Heyman said that Steve Kloves, though skipping the fifth movie, will come back as screenwriter for the sixth episode.Synopsis
