Movies - Harry and Marv

Harry (Joe Pesci
) and Marv (Daniel Stern
) are fictional partners in crime in the first 2 Home Alone
movies.

What started it all was that Harry and Marv laid eyes on the McCallister residence and thought it has top-price goods (as of 1989) in the first Home Alone movie. Harry disguses as a cop and visits the McCallister residence under trust so he can be informed that the McCallisters are leaving for paris. Meanwhile as an unusual accident occurs by leaving Kevin home alone.

Harry and Marv evaluate the automatic timers on the neighbors' roofs to prove that the houses are empty, but as Harry and Marv mistakenly think the McCallister family was back when the pair went to the basement entrance as Kevin fliped the light switch for the basement.

On day 3 of the pair's crime venture, they broke into the Murphy residence and hightailed silver dishes, meanwhile Marv turned the faucet on so the house could flood. Meanwhile, Kevin went to buy a toothbrush he accidentally shoplifted due to a guy entering the store that Kevin thought he was afraid of. As Kevin nearly gets hit by Harry and Marv's truck, Harry warns Kevin to watch for traffic, but because of a golden tooth that Kevin notices from day 1 of Harry's cop disguse, he unknowningly makes a suspicious face at the pair and he evades them. As Harry and Marv trail him, they trail him until he enters a building. Kevin baffled the pair by going to the church and disguising as Jesus. Kevin then formulates a plan to trick Harry and Marv into thinking there is a party at the house when Kevin pulls out fake people that are capable of forming silhouettes of real people which fooled Harry and Marv.

On day 4, Kevin goes to the grocery store and embezzles Buzz's life savings for food, dishwashing, laundry products. When he goes back home and does the dishes, Marv tries to break in and Kevin turns on a classic Black and White film with arguing to create the illusion of the house being occupied with people. Meanwhile, kevin uses firecrackers to synchronize with the gunfire from the movie as a way to repel the partners in crime.

Harry and Marv almose leave, but then Harry tries to see who is behind the scareoff. Kevin goes out to trim an XMAS tree, and he is seen by the pair. He puts and ornament on the tree, and sees the reflection of Harry on it. He then says "Dad, can you come here and help me" as a second attempt to scare off the pair. Harry then discovers that Kevin is home alone, meanwhile Kevin spies on the proposal Marv makes and Marv suggests 9:00, and Kevin registers that time into his brain.

Kevin formulates another plan and sets various traps to repel Harry and Marv. Meanwhile Kevin calls 911 and directs the cops to the Murphys. Then Kevin lures Harry and Marv to the treehouse. Harry and Marv go across on the rope and Kevin uses a cutting tool to bang the pair against the wall.

Kevin goes into the Murphy residence, but Harry and Marv take an alternate route to outsmart Kevin, and as they do, Kevin is caught by the pair, but not for long as a guy with a shovel knocks them down. Later, the cops show up and arrest the pair.
