| Houseguest is a 1995 film starring Sinbad and Phil Hartman. The film's director was Randall Miller. The movie centers around a Pittsburgh native Kevin Franklin (Sinbad) who owes $50,000 dollars to the mob. After being caught by the mobsters trying to skip town, he runs into Gary Young (Hartman), and poses as the man that Young had come to pick up. It turns out that Franklin is posing as a wealthy, well known dentist. In the long run, however, Franklin helps to create stability within the dysfunctional family. In the end, he won their hearts, even though he lied about his identity.
