| Idiocracy is a 2006 comedy film directed by Mike Judge, and starring Luke Wilson and Maya Rudolph. Luke Wilson plays a relatively naive character from the present time, who is used as a guinea pig for a government project which transports him to a time a thousand years from now. He gets there and realizes he is by far the smartest person in the world. Not much else is known about the film except its release sometime in 2006. Film was orginally called "3001". Release was stalled due to a possible civil suit. Several companies were unhappy with the way they were satirized in this film.
